the new 10gbps ethernet ports look cool
check out the ports on this switch:https://amzn.to/4lzNuEu which is a 6 port 2.5g switch, it supports the lacp link aggregation standard and im using it to aggregate a two connections to two seperate isps. theyre 1gps each, so i get roughly 2gbps from two connections, which isnt bad (about 200mega bytes per second, instead of 100 mega bytes.
anyways, the ports look like a high speed port, and have some kind of solid feeling to them, like a sturdy ethernet port is supposed to feel, would be cool setting that up in my house, infact i might setup a 10gbps lan next month if i have the money, hopefully linux supports it well
the next article i have will be about link aggregation in linux!
