how to communicate with legislative branches of usa
according to law, you can submit legislation to your local congressman, and within the period of two years, if accepted, it will be drafted into legislation.
now theres three branches of hte us government im aware of, and thats jucidicial (where we're at), federal, and executive. the executive branch is kind of like level 0 when it comes to the law, where it inflates and desecuclates as needed, kinda like the real zero, but whatever
the jist of this blog entry is to share where to complain: you can always complain (or try to in my case) to the police by calling the police department, and that should take care of local matters, federal (as in to federate) requires branches of the federal government, including complaints against corporations and their doings, and things that dont quite fall into the catagory of local matters. again, these branches are simply people (and electronics) and they communicate frequently; along with governing the usa they do have their lives
but yeah, if you want to talk about federal or legislative issues, and sometimes local (the local congressmans aid said they only deal with federal issues), and yeah, they are government workers btw, and can cop an attitude, and sadly because they work for the house committee, not much you can do, but remember these things before contacting your local house committee representative:
your not the only one communicating with the representative
the cia (central intelligence agency) has its presence there, either digitally, electronically, or physcally, and some of these people dont quite run websites, but theyre often noted for doing things like killing someone at their own risk for their reprsentative
sometimes there is nothing your representative can do if your bill is passed into the house, senate and then president
they do a background check on meetings, and your representative or his staff can take action, even fatal action against you
if appearing at a house function, there may or may not be anything your represenative can do about community action
there is limited power to what your elected official can do
but, if your writing a bill, be sure to bring it up with your representatives staff, either by phone, email, or in person. your elected official should have atleast two offices in his district, and it works in this manner: the president oversees all, the senate manages state wide things, the governor governs the state, congressmen have their own districts, and the mayor oversees local poltiics, making it a grand scheme of governance!
but if your writing a bill, be sure to research it thoroughly by any means, making note to contact your represenative before hand, and please, make an appointment with your reprsentative (which may or may not be refused or declined) beforehand, the turn around times for appointents might range in the months, between traveling districts and to washington. research it thoroughly and read equivement bills on the library of congress, and try to accomidate everyone in the untied states. if your bill gets passed without a form of protection *for all parties*, could result in capital punishment from various communities
when its good and done, schedule an appointment with your representative, and he or she should give it a good read and tell you if its appropriate to release into the house. i personally helped legalize marijuana but on my congressman at the times terms. i perosnally wanted a more sf, medical marijuana scheme but the house decided on high taxes which somewhat works.
the not sure what senate is for, but they seem like the completely govern state wide issues, and yeah, i think its a highly paid job, complete with perks.
so there you go, a writeup on passing legislation!
