apples support of wifi7

wifi7 allows transfer of up to 46gbps according to google ai, and is '5x faster then wifi6', and through my testing, that i have a 1.2gbps connection through comcast, is reliable enough for everyday home and office, and possibly corporate use

that doesnt mean if you have a 1.2gbps connection (roughly 100 mega bytes per second) you will get 50gbps, but means your wifi7 router will use your wired internet to provide wifi speeds equal to your internet connection

a wifi7 router is required, and can be very pricey

i personally use a wifi6e router i got for 150$, a netgear nighthawk, with wings believe it or not, and it provides some pretty advanced feature, such as malware scans and remote administration, which can dramatically help some families.

there are 3 frequencies, 2.4gz, 5ghz, and 6ghz, which transmit data over the wifi protocol to all supported devices, including apple watch, apple iphone, mac silicon, and apple tv+

windows devices may need a special, usb-c supported wifi6/wifi6e/wifi7 card, or if youre daring, you can purchase a pci express cards, which will give you a supported speed of up to 46gbps over wifi

be sure to do your googling, linux devices arent really supported, and from my experience the bsds are even sparsely supported, but give it a good google

happy downloading!!
