man harvard/ext is hard to get into lol

i went to umgc and yeah its a good school, but when youre me and people find out youre going to a college and getting money, let alone an online school, they decide to retaliate full out to make sure, im guessing, its a long story about asian culture i guess

umgc has decent classes, and a decent peer system, and it is acredited, and yeah, they did accomidate me

really wanted to goto harvard online, i wanted to goto harvard when i was in high school and i was writing software for friends on irc and aol, but yeah, harvard is an ivy league school, and theyre not all thugs from the street i can tell you that; theyre.. mainly cultured people from well off backgrounds im guessing, and yeah, if youre not, you will be

a liberal arts is like a degree where you can practice a combination of things, like pyschology and computer science, etc, whatever, people get their masters in cs even with a ba/bs in psychology, which i'll never practice because of the evidentiary way psychology works that isnt plausible in a technological world

the admissions advisor was cool, i explained my story, i was enrolling as a disabled student on financial aid, but i didnt make the requirements to enroll in their liberal arts program, which did include some computer science classes; and would make an excellent launching ground for my ma or even phd online

here are the requirements for harvard ext, and the prereqs to even gain admission require a min of a 3.0 gpa:

  1. no ba degree
  2. no concruent enrollment
  3. hsd/ged/equiv
  4. you need to enroll in harvard ext atleast 5 years before your hsd, meaning if you got your hsd 20 years ago, youre ineligible unless an exception is proven

but there goes my chances at harvard =(
wouldve been nice living in a place after years of hard work where the neighbors dont cluster outside and gawk and stare because im getting an att fiber line

your friend, and more
