this bothered me on my macos


you can do ‘cd .’ and it’ll do nothing

‘cd ..’ traverses the previous to the previous directory

i was thinking of ‘cd .!’ or some kind of pipe, maybe some kind of exploit, but i havent had the time.

i would edit the source code of a free unix to traverse the file system along with a macro but thats too memory consuming and error prone; because in the future we’ll have risc and alot of small computers, its pretty much useless

so like, when looking up the node we can have a linear binary tree, which is a hard coded method of not calling other nodes in user space or whatever.
